Our today's word is a phobia a lot of people suffer; sometimes due to past event  that must have had a negative impact on us, such as: a failed relationship,a child who was routinely undermined or humiliated in childhood, a failed marriage due to domestic violence, a failed career etc...

Atychiphobia

Atychiphobia is an irrational fear of failure that will eventually hold back an individual so strongly that they will refuse to do anything that they cannot assure their success on.

Atychiphobia is often linked to traumatic or embarrassing events in one’s past. Strict or overly demanding parents or demeaning siblings or friends can also lead a child to suffer extreme fear of failure.

Symptoms include: shortness of breath, speedy breathing, irregular heartbeat, sweating, nausea, and overall feelings of dread when people panic. 

Here are some traits you find in a person with atychiphobia

1) A reluctance to try new things or get involved in challenging projects.

2) Self-sabotage   – for example, procrastination, excessive anxiety  , or a failure to follow through with goals.

3)Low self-esteem or self-confidence   – commonly using negative statements such as "I'll never be good enough to get that promotion," or "I'm not smart enough to get on that team."

4) Perfectionism   – A willingness to try only those things that you know you'll finish perfectly and successfully.

      DEAR CARING, LOVING AND PATIENT FATHER, I Thank You for rewarding me daily with crowns of glory; others are seeing the fruits of the Spirit in my life(1pet5:4).

 Today, I'm led completely by the Spirit of God to do all i do,say or think; my actions are compelled by the intimacy, love of God that is radiating in me and through me(Rom8:26).

I choose to finish this month with God and start the new month with God! I'm manifesting already by the Spirit-in Jesus' name...
