President Donald Trump hosts two Chibok girls

The U.S. President, Donald Trump, and his daughter, Ivanka, met with two Chibok girls, Joy Bishara and Lydia Pogu on June 27 at the White House. Bishara, 20, and Pogu, 19 were among 57 girls who escaped from Boko Haram in Borno by jumping off the back of a truck in 2014.

The 57 were among over 270 kidnapped from their secondarily school in Chibok, Borno State on April 14, 2014. The incident sparked global outrage with a campaign hashtag of #bringbackourgirls, calling for rescue of the girls.

Majority of the girls have since been freed by the terror group in prisoner swaps with the Nigerian government, although dozens still remain with the Boko Haram. With the assistance of the Jubilee Campaign, a human rights group in Virginia, the pair relocated to the United States in August 2014.

They then transferred to Canyonville Christian Academy in the state of
Oregon, where they graduated .

“It’s a wonderful school, I enjoyed my senior year because of the wonderful combination of different countries,” said Bishara on her Facebook page.

The pair will attend Southeastern University on a full scholarship at the
beginning of the upcoming school year.

I pray that all God's people will come into the awareness of their right in Christ and take charge of situations around them(Hosea4:6).

Today, i believe that I'm far above all devil's plans and strategies; I'm walking  in dominion and authority(Mark16:7-10)!

On Prayers - The Elijah's Model. By Abalaka Eneojo Paul

And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word. 1Ki 17:1

Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit. James 5:17 – 18

It was understood from the last post that prayers is fixing our eyes on Jesus and His available power; prayers are like firing the flare gun into heaven sending distress signals to heaven for heaven’s intervention on the earth; prayer is declaring your helplessness before the all sufficient God. Prayer goes beyond ordinary mind’s exercise and a verbal presentation, prayer is a spiritual exercise, a spiritual transaction with our Maker, a practice that gives us power and authority in the earth. A prayerless individual will only experience but meagre amount of heavenly power. E. M. Bounds asserted that “It is prayer-force which makes saints. Holy characters are formed by the power of real praying”. He also stated that “No amount of money, genius, or culture can move things for God. Holiness energizing the soul, the whole man aflame with love, with desire for more faith, more prayer, more zeal, more consecration—this is the secret of power”. Prayer is the doorway to accessing the power and unction of God and it is the most effective and requisite work of the believer.

The prophet Elijah declared against the king Ahab, arresting rains and dew upon the land of Israel, but behind this decree are loads of personal, private prayers and a stand before God. Elijah prayed earnestly that it might not rain before he declared no rain. The secret behind Elijah’s audacity is his stand before God. It is until your stand is recognized before God that you stand before men can be with consequences. Until you have prevailed in the place of secret prayers, you’d never prevail with men.

God’s power is available to anyone who would only persevere in the place of prayers, anyone who would only raise and service the altar of prayers.

The Prophet Elijah on the face of it appeared as a superhuman but was a man subject to the challenges we are subject to. What made Elijah phenomenal is his devotion to servicing his fellowship, his stand with God. It was prayer which gave to his life the awe-inspiring power. He was a man of mighty prayers – men of mighty prayer are men of mighty spiritual might. Elijah was much in prayers and fellowship with God and communed less with men – this is the reason the only content of his biography was “Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead” and nothing else aside his prayer devotions.

It is the type of prayer devotions of Elijah that is required of you and I and every other believer in this age, it must become one of our eminent characteristics – this is the only way we can mould things going wrong in and around us. It is the type of prayers that would empower us to with the boldness to confront systems and governments, the type of prayers that will authorizes us to be in place of God to suspend the rains and to release the rains according to our words. The type of prayers that would allow the move and revival of the most High God to sweep through the land, the type of prayers that creates the climate of Godliness upon the land. To pray like Elijah, and to have effects like Elijah, is the desperate need of this times.

Hear this, the health of your spirituality is a function of the health of your prayer life, the strength of your spirituality is a direct representation of the strength of your prayer life. You are spiritually bankrupt you who is bankrupt of prayers.

Throughout the ages, the price for the unction to function is much prayers. Our Lord Jesus Christ walked this earth and operated with so much unction because He would rise long before it is dawn a go to a place of prayers, Jesus while He was baptized by John went into the river Jordan praying – the Holy Spirit descended on Him (Luke 3:21); He was further driven to the place of a fasted prayers for forty days, he returned with power and His fame spread abroad. You cannot command results before men when you have not travailed in the place of prayers. Earnest prayers impacts the heart of God, the power of God and the workings of God. The baptism of the Holy Ghost came not to a group of people lounging and feasting, the baptism came to people who were in a protracted intense prayer meeting.

Daniel, a man of prayer would ignore been fed to hungry lions because praying was more important to him than life itself, Daniel through his made hungry lions salivate all through the night – his prayers made him an ‘not-eatable’. Joshua would command the sun and the moon and members of the solar system to stand still – he was a man of prayers and of the secret place. Moses had a walk with God that’s unequalled by any man in his times. The apostle Paul was a man who prayed more than everyone in his time – no wonder he outperform his contemporaries. David would seek the Lord early while others are successfully snoring their life away in sleep, Abraham and Isaac both maintained a secret place where they meet with God. Elijah’s praying was robust and resilient, insistent and persevering, and resistless in its elements of power. Ineffectual praying secures no results and brings neither glory to God nor good to the man praying.

In your prayers please pray, with all your combined energies of prayer, please pray. E. M. Bounds asserted that “Prayer carries the promise to its gracious fulfilment. It takes persistent and persevering prayer to give to the promise its largest and most gracious results”. In your prayers be persistent; in your prayers be insistent, in your prayers focus on God; in your prayers, deal with God; in your prayers, honour God. When you become mighty in prayers, you must become mighty in power. If you become a man of God via prayers, you can command earth’s elements at will.

Where are the praying men and women of fiery faith in this time who can incense Elijah’s prayers? We need at this territorial commanders who, can add to the force, fire and heady scent of Elijah’s praying by their own prayers.

House on the Rock church gutted by fire

The House on the Rock church on James Wolfesen Drive, Airport
Road , Federal Capital Territory, Abuja,  has reportedly lost Property worth millions of naira to a fire incident that occurred yesterday,  Sunday.

The church building, which is known as `Citadel and Towers’
with a sitting capacity of 10, 000, went up in flames at about
2pm as the rain was falling.

According to an eyewitness, the fire began after the Sunday service had closed. She also said the plastic materials on the top floor of the building burned quickly, and spread to the second floor and onto
the pulpit. Half of the building located on Airport Road was
destroyed before the firemen were able to tame the fire.

As at the time of report, nobody could ascertain the cause of the fire, and the church is yet to make an official statement over the incident .

According to the Head of FCT Fire Service, Garki Station, Mr. Stanley Ujobo, the fire fighters were professionals trained to fight fire and would not rush into a building without proper strategy.

He then advised Nigerians intending to build such big structures to consult the fire service for professional guidance on what type of materials to use.

Motorists and some members of the church who witnessed the fire incident from a distance were seen worshipping and singing praises to God for averting a bigger calamity as the church service had ended only an hour before the incident occurred.

Show me Prince Kazeem Eletu Odibo, and I will show you a millionaire with humility.

Prince Kazeem is the last son of the late popular traditional Lagos Chief, Gbadamosi Bamidele Eletu Odibo, who was in his lifetime a big defendant of Lagosians, who was a philanthropist.

Born On the 14th of February 1978,  a day when the world celebrate love, to the family Eletu Odibo.

And to think he wasn't born with a silver spoon, he never allowed his background to define his future.

Prince Kazeem always tells those who care to listen, that there was once a time when under the bridge was his haven, and had also been a bus conductor at various times. After which he went to the UK to ‘hustle’ before God opened the door to success for him.

Prince Kazeem is the CEO of Kazeem Royal Properties Limited,he controls a large expanse of land/estate in Osapa-Lagos , Lekki, Lagos alongside his brothers. They moved into real estate big time after winning a long court battle with the Ojomu Chieftaincy family of Lagos.

He has a heart of gold. He is a free giver (I'm a firsthand testifier to that) and a role model to his generation.

He is currently working on a project of giving water to  Osapa-Lagos Community.

Not to mention the numerous awards he has received.

Today's story : 'The Secret Of Happiness'

This story was written By Paul Coelho. It teaches just one lesson on the secret of happiness.

A certain shopkeeper sent his son to learn about the secret of
happiness from the wisest man in the world. The lad wandered
through the desert for 40 days, and finally came upon a beautiful
castle, high atop a mountain. It was there that the wise man lived.

Rather than finding a saintly man, though, our hero, on entering
the main room of the castle, saw a hive of activity: tradesmen
came and went, people were conversing in the corners, a small
orchestra was playing soft music, and there was a table covered
with platters of the most delicious food in that part of the world.

The wise man conversed with everyone, and the boy had to wait
for two hours before it was his turn to be given the man's attention.

The wise man listened attentively to the boy's explanation of why
he had come, but told him that he didn't have time just then to
explain the secret of happiness. He suggested that the boy look
around the palace and return in two hours.

"Meanwhile, I want to ask you to do something," said the wise
man, handing the boy a teaspoon that held two drops of oil. "As
you wander around, carry this spoon with you without allowing the
oil to spill."

The boy began climbing and descending the many stairways of the
palace, keeping his eyes fixed on the spoon. After two hours, he
returned to the room where the wise man was.

"Well," asked the wise man, "Did you see the Persian tapestries
that are hanging in my dining hall? Did you see the garden that it
took the master gardener ten years to create? Did you notice the
beautiful parchments in my library?"

The boy was embarrassed, and confessed that he had observed
nothing. His only concern had been not to spill the oil that the wise
man had entrusted to him.

"Then go back and observe the marvels of my world," said the wise
man. "You cannot trust a man if you don't know his house."

Relieved, the boy picked up the spoon and returned to his
exploration of the palace, this time observing all of the works of art
on the ceilings and the walls. He saw the gardens, the mountains
all around him, the beauty of the flowers, and the taste with which
everything had been selected. Upon returning to the wise man, he
related in detail everything he had seen.

"But where are the drops of oil I entrusted to you?" asked the wise
man. Looking down at the spoon he held, the boy saw that the oil
was gone.

"Well, there is only one piece of advice I can give you," said the
wisest of wise men.

"The secret of happiness is to see all the marvels of the world and
never to forget the drops of oil on the spoon."

I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history
as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our
nation.

Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow
we stand today, signed the Emancipation Proclamation. This
momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to
millions of Negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of
withering injustice. It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long
night of their captivity.

But one hundred years later, the Negro still is not free. One
hundred years later, the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by
the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. One
hundred years later, the Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in
the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity.

One hundred years later, the Negro is still languishing in the corners of American society and finds himself an exile in his own land. So we
have come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.

In a sense we have come to our nation's capital to cash a check.
When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of
the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they were
signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall
heir. This note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well
as white men, would be guaranteed the unalienable rights of life,
liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory
note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. Instead of
honoring this sacred obligation, America has given the Negro
people a bad check, a check which has come back marked
"insufficient funds."

But we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. We refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation. So we have come to cash this check — a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.

We have also come to this hallowed spot to remind America of the fierce urgency of now. This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy.

Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. Now is the time to lift our nation from the quick sands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God's children.

It would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the
moment. This sweltering summer of the Negro's legitimate
discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of
freedom and equality. Nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a
beginning. Those who hope that the Negro needed to blow off
steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the
nation returns to business as usual.

There will be neither rest nor tranquility in America until the Negro is granted his citizenship rights. The whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.

But there is something that I must say to my people who stand on
the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice. In the
process of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of
wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by
drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred.

We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity
and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.

The marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the Negro community must not lead us to a distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have
come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny.

They have come to realize that their freedom is inextricably bound to
our freedom. We cannot walk alone. As we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead. We cannot turn back. There are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, "When will you be satisfied?"

We can never be satisfied as long as the Negro is the victim of the unspeakable horrors of police brutality. We can never be satisfied, as long as our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in the motels of the highways and the hotels of the cities. We cannot be satisfied as long as the Negro's basic mobility is from a smaller ghetto to a larger one. We can never be satisfied as long as our
children are stripped of their selfhood and robbed of their dignity
by signs stating "For Whites Only".

We cannot be satisfied as long as a Negro in Mississippi cannot vote and a Negro in New York believes he has nothing for which to vote. No, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.

I am not unmindful that some of you have come here out of great
trials and tribulations. Some of you have come fresh from narrow
jail cells. Some of you have come from areas where your quest for
freedom left you battered by the storms of persecution and
staggered by the winds of police brutality. You have been the
veterans of creative suffering.

Continue to work with the faith that unearned suffering is redemptive.
Go back to Mississippi, go back to Alabama, go back to South
Carolina, go back to Georgia, go back to Louisiana, go back to the
slums and ghettos of our northern cities, knowing that somehow
this situation can and will be changed. Let us not wallow in the
valley of despair.

I say to you today, my friends, so even though we face the
difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a
dream deeply rooted in the American dream.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the
true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident:
that all men are created equal."

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of
former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to
sit down together at the table of brotherhood.

I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state
sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of
oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and
justice.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a
nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but
by the content of their character.

I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious
racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of
interposition and nullification; one day right there in Alabama, little
black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little
white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.

I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every
hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be
made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the
glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it
together.

This is our hope. This is the faith that I go back to the South with.
With this faith we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair
a stone of hope. With this faith we will be able to transform the
jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of
brotherhood. With this faith we will be able to work together, to
pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand
up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day.

This will be the day when all of God's children will be able to sing
with a new meaning, "My country, 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty,
of thee I sing. Land where my fathers died, land of the pilgrim's
pride, from every mountainside, let freedom ring."

And if America is to be a great nation this must become true. So let
freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire. Let
freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York. Let freedom
ring from the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania!

Let freedom ring from the snowcapped Rockies of Colorado!
Let freedom ring from the curvaceous slopes of California!

But not only that; let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia!
Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee!

Let freedom ring from every hill and molehill of Mississippi. From
every mountainside, let freedom ring.

And when this happens, when we allow freedom to ring, when we
let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state
and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of
God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles,
Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in
the words of the old Negro spiritual, "Free at last! free at last!

I declare that this weekend rejoicing shall be on my lips; when others are worried, living in fear, I choose to trust more in God!(Ps37:5)!

Immigrants Not to Get Welfare for Five Years- President Trump

In a speech on Wednesday night, President Donald Trump made it known that he would soon introduce legislation that immigrants to America shouldn't receive welfare benefits for a minimum of five years.

The new measure will stipulate that "those seeking admission into
our country must be able to support themselves financially and
should not use welfare for a period of at least five years," Trump
said as the crowd of thousands at the campaign-style rally
exploded into extended applause.

But those requirements, or something similar to them, already
exist.

Legislation backed by then-President Bill Clinton, called the
"Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act
of 1996," states immigrants are "not eligible for any federal
means-tested public benefit" for five years beginning when they
come into the country. However, the law has exceptions and
additional legislation since its passage has also affected
eligibility.

The White House did not respond to a request for more information
about the legislation, which Trump promised would be coming
"very shortly."

The president also said that "those coming into our country must
embrace our values" and he renewed calls for a wall along the
U.S. border with Mexico, saying publicly what he reportedly had
said privately to fellow lawmakers — that the wall would include
solar panels.

"We're thinking about building the wall as a solar wall," Trump
told supporters gathered at the U.S. Cellular Center here. "This
way, Mexico will have to pay much less money."

Mexican officials have repeatedly said they will not pay for the
wall.

Some weeks ago, we began this series with the focus of exploring maximally and sufficiently the relevant truths and mystery of the two sons but we began with the prodigal son.
We were able to see about four things he did wrong like;

# Spent all His possession on self without sowing.

Today, we are looking at the fifth thing he did which is  called Wrong association because Bible says he went and joined himself to a citizen of that FAR Country.
Far means far. For the country to be called far, it means their system, operations, covenant, practices and possibly their gods were different from what he had earlier grown up to meet in his father's house.
Each time you loss value or respect, if you can check well, you will see that you associated with a far country citizen.
As soon as he joined himself to that citizen, the next thing he did was to send him to his Pigs.....God forbid.
How can a palace personality be sent to pigs?
But this was because he went far to where his worth, potential and relevance wasn't recognized..... A far country.
(Mathew 7:6) Explains that nothing precious should be given to pigs, But this citizen sent this Son to pigs where he could never gain anything of value.
# Pigs enjoy corruption (Sin)
# Pigs are not really advisable for consumption more because of excess fat (Less impact or relevance).
# Pigs are never sensitive.
# Pigs forbid being neat etc
Yet he sent this son to Go to pigs because he was a strange citizen in a far country.
Have you lost favour today?
Have you been demoted in life?
Have you noticed that you are a complete shadow of your successful self in the past?
The answer is simple.... You have joined your self to a citizen, a friend, a system in a far country.
You don't need to waste further time or think you need deliverance... NO! All you need is to think twice like this prodigal son did and return back.
On your journey to success, U-Turn is always necessary if you have discovered you are on a wrong track.
Citizens of far country are out for two reasons;
# To make you comfortable with sin (Pig life)
# To strip you off from your Dignity.

The above definition obviously shows that we delay doing our work, even though we know there meant be a consequence . Is it just laziness, or is there more to it?

As a student, the teacher gives you an assignment, but you realize you've got up to a week to do it.; so that thought comes "Why would you start it now, you have a whole week!"
This is the mentality that gets many students in trouble when it comes to doing assignments.

Even with an approaching deadline  and a pile of work, many people still find
themselves wasting time checking social media or reading up on the latest sports scores. For businesses, procrastination can take a serious toll on productivity; for employees, wasting too much time can ruin deadlines as well as relationships.

Most people procrastinate(I also do) and it’s very hard to avoid because it is the easier option.  Lol

Well, here is the news: there is an evidence that suggests that procrastination doesn’t just hurt your work, it may also prove serious damage to your health. This Evidence suggests that putting off important tasks causes stress, and this additional stress contributes to negative psycho- physiological impacts on the body which increase our vulnerability for illness. Previous research has linked chronic
procrastination to a range of stress-related health problems such as headaches, digestive issues, colds and flu, and insomnia.

Does procrastination kill?

Well... The answer is yes. And how does it kill?
* Procrastination kills your desires, motivations and dreams slowly, without you noticing.

It is a slow killer as it kills one minute , one hour and one day at a time before it kills you.

1. Eliminate distraction: When you start working on a task you should never check your mail, answer your phone or log on to your Facebook account.
2. Have a predefined task list: One of the main reasons many people waste time without being productive is that they don’t know what to do!
3. Become an early riser: When you wake up early you will find plenty of free time and as a result you will be motivated to become more productive.
4. Conquer your fears: Many people never work on their important tasks because they are either afraid of the task or because they are not sure whether they can accomplish it or not.
5. Remind yourself of your bigger goals: Whenever you find yourself lacking motivation or whenever you feel that you don’t have enough energy, just remind yourself of your bigger goals.
6. Educate your family members about the importance of your work: Sometimes distractions can come from other people and in such cases you might think that you aren’t the one to blame but you are wrong. You have to educate the people you live with about the
importance of completing your tasks on time to minimize those distractions.

Banks to resume dollar loans as naira appreciates

Indications have emerged that Deposit Money Banks will soon start to raise dollar-denominated loans, especially Eurobonds, as the naira continues to appreciate.

It was learnt that banks were now favourably disposed to raising dollar loans following the creation of the Investor & Exporters FX window by the Central Bank of Nigeria and the subsequent appreciation of the naira.


Another reason the banks are considering Eurobonds, according to top banking sources, is because some of them are looking at refinancing their dollar loans, which will soon start falling due.

The top bank executive said, “Many banks have no choice than to raise dollar loans or Eurobonds partly to refinance their Eurobonds falling due, or to take advantage of the appreciation in the naira value to raise dollar funding.”

While Guaranty Trust Bank Plc’s $400m Eurobond is due in November, Fidelity Bank Plc’s $300m is due next May. Access Bank Plc has $350m of bonds due in July.

GTBank has said it has no plans to issue fresh Eurobonds, but Fidelity Bank and Access Bank have yet to decide.

Economic and financial experts agree that the banks will start to raise dollar-denominated loans.

Even so, more lenders will issue Eurobonds because they need dollars to offer loans in the United States currency or to repay debt, an analyst at Vetiva Capital Management Limited, Mr. Lekan Olabode, told Bloomberg, adding that more banks would issue Eurobonds, because they needed dollars to offer loans and to repay debt.

Already, Ecobank Transnational Incorporated has said it is planning to raise $400m five-year convertible bond this month to refinance debt and provide short-term bridge funding for non-performing loans at its Nigerian unit.

Experts believe more banks will raise dollar loans this year and next year.

Already, United Bank for Africa Plc has raised $500m in its first Eurobond sale.

It issued the bond on June 1. This followed an equivalent issue a week earlier by Zenith Bank Plc in a deal that was four times oversubscribed.

It is difficult to put a figure to what the expected dollar loans will be but analysts believe that as the I & E FX window continues to improve, more banks will take advantage to raise extra dollar loans.

The CBN on Thursday said its new currency window for investors had handled $2.2bn of trade in six weeks.

It also said it accounted for almost 30 per cent of the $2.2bn transactions, adding that this was meant to keep the window operating.

The CBN had about six weeks ago created the Investors & Exporters FX Window to attract foreign investors and at same time maintain a strong currency to ward off inflation.

Analysts have lauded the initiative as a step in the right direction.

However, some experts, including a former Governor of the CBN, Prof. Charles Soludo, said although the initiative, among others taken by the regulator in recent times, had moved the forex market forward by 10 steps, there was a need to take about 90 extra steps to get the economy to where it ought to be.

WHY NOT RETURN TO THE FATHER? (Luke 15 : 11 - 23) BY "PST MICHAEL GREAT"

The two sons.
Facts about the younger son (4)

Last month we began looking at the parable of the lost son.
We began by identifying key things this younger son did that made him the prodigal son and related it to this present age and admonished all to change, should there are traces of these attitudes in our lives.
The first thing he did was to love present (Gifts)  than presence (God) because he said....give me my own.
  The second was that he was always in a hurry, he lacked patience because...... Not many days after, he began a journey.
The third thing was that he was far from the father.....because he  journeyed to the FAR Country.

Today we shall be looking at the fourth thing he did, which is He WASTED HIS POSSESSIONS On Prodigal living.
There is no future for the waster because God himself is against wastage and that's why he has designed this world in a way that wastage doesn't exist because even the waste man pass out in the toilet eventually becomes food for flies, Margots, fishes and even plants.
The only  reason Jesus always ask men to gather the left over after feeding multitudes is that, wastage shouldn't exist.
Never ever agree to spend your last because there is a season after spending all, its called the season of want. Don't forget, he began to be in want and no man gave him nothing.
Why the five virgins appeared wise was because they avoided the tragedy of spending all, that's why they said to the unwise... NOT SO, Le's we both begin to lack at the time we should not.
When time comes, God will always look for those that have to make them relevant.
That's why a little boy became relevant in the wilderness because he was the only one that had what adults needed but lacked. Don't forget, to him that has, more will be given and to him that has not, even what he has shall be collected and given to the one that has....Oh what a mystery!!!
It is the spending all mentality that makes relationship not last because if you know the importance of men in your journey of life, you will value all men by respecting them now.
Samson had this spending all mentality that is why the jawbone of an ass that gave him victory was thrown away, not knowing that God will use it to give him water that will revive his spirit from thirst just shortly after then.
Its this mentality that made Esau bow to Jacob because Jacob had animals at home to kill any time but Esau kept going deeper into the forest because he had depopulated it.
Spending all mentality is why America rules over the world because they have large reserves.
Genesis 8:22 explains that seed time and harvest should not cease on the earth.
The mystery of tithe is to avoid spending all because tithe is the only vehicle that brings back your next miracle of abundance.
Tithe is like the truck that brought the goods, if you hold back the truck, you won't receive next supplies.
Jesus advised us to store up wealth in heaven not earth so that you won't want when you get there.
The only way you will escape spending all now is to put God first now and be a sheep so he can Shepherd you, then you won't want. Psalm 23:1.
Don't be like the prodigal son who spent all on self and not on others, that's why no man gave him anything when he began to suffer because life can't give you what you didn't give it. Sowers are reapers.
Plan all your money to accommodate the following areas;
# Thithe 10%
#Offerings ( Reasonable?
#Prophetic seeds to men of God that blesses you
# parents that gave birth to you
# Welfare to the poor, friends and relatives.
Begin to do this and watch God change you because if you spend your money on Divinity, you can't be stranded when you get to heaven but if you spend your money on humanity, you can't be frustrated as long as you live.
Don't be foolish like the prodigal son friends, Determine to change after reading this and change because Stubbornness and unwillingness to change are the energy of fools.

WHY NOT RETURN TO THE FATHER? (Luke 15 : 11 - 23) BY "PST MICHAEL GREAT"

Facts about the younger son (3)

Last month we began looking at the parable of the lost son.
We began by identifying key things this younger son did that made him the prodigal son and related it to this present age and admonished all to change, should there are traces of these attitudes in our lives.
The first thing he did was to love present (Gifts)  than presence (God) because he said....give me my own.
  The second was that he was always in a hurry, he lacked patience because...... Not many days after, he began a journey.

Today, we shall look at the third thing he did, which is called journey to the FAR Country.
You can't be far from God and go far in life.
I have discovered that proximity with God kills curses, brings mercies and breaks protocol.

By divine standard, Moses was meant to go to hell because there was no account that he offered a sin offering for himself to God. That's why Satan came to drag for his body in Jude 9.....Hallelujah. But his proximity with God broke protocol and gave him divine partiality.

Jesus told peter while they were together that he would deny him three times but Peter doubted the possibility because he was close to him then. But he denied him when he went far from Jesus at his arrest.
Distance from God sponsors sin, poverty and afflictions but proximity with God brings speed, blessings and fulfilment.

Friends, don't forget that the prodigal son suffered all because he went too far from the father.
Psalms 91 began by saying he that dwell in the secret place, not he that's far from the most high.
The best of a man comes from proximity with God.
That's why, you find it difficult to pray or to serve God after sin or when your heart is unrest.
Satan's target was the proximity of man to God in the garden and not fruit.
Satan's target on Samson was for the holy spirit to leave him and not Delilah, that's the basis why David prayed.... Cast me not away from your presence and take not your holy spirit from me just because of sin of immortality. all these are channels satan uses to take you far.
Pls, wherever you are now, return back to God now in prayers, should you are far from him because of sin or any reason.
(Isaiah 1 : 18) Shows God is waiting for you at the place of prayer if you can come.
  Have you lost grace, glory, fire or impact and you are looking for a way out desperately?
Just go down on your knees at the alter of prayer now....God is awaiting you.
The only thing you need do now to get things right again is not attending services, going for counseling or even reading any book now......its to return back to God now in prayers.
What's taken you too far from God today?
Is it phone?...... Drop it
Is it job?.....Quite it
Is it relationship?... End it.
Is it Academics?.... Change course if need be.
Is it ministry?.... Go for a retreat now because souls won't die because of you, they will wait. After all, they waited for moses when he went for 40 years retreat with Jethro, the retreat helped him because he went alone and returned back with a wife, children and anointing.

Don't forget, to gain all and lose your soul is  unprofitable.
Determine to change after reading this and change because Stubbornness and unwillingness to change are the energy of fools.

'My words my life'

Experience has made me come to the culmination that the most powerful and effective weapon is no other than 'WORDS'

One of my favorite Bible verses Ephesians 4:29

              Let no unwholesome word proceed from
              your mouth, but only such a word as is
              good for edification according to the need
              of the moment, so that it will give grace to
              those who hear.

Words are so powerful that even those of others can hurt or motivate you. And so it is the other way round ; our words carry enormous weight. More than we sometimes think. They often impact people for a very long time, either providing the courage to press on or
one more reason to give up.

Developing an affirmative Spirit, confessing positively  is a key to keeping alive. I love Mohammed Ali, who I call a positive thinker. He kept saying he was the greatest even before he began a known boxer.  Let me give you some of his quotes...

“I know where I’m going and I know the truth, and I don’t have to
be what you want me to be. I’m free to be what I want.”

“If they can make penicillin out of mouldy bread, they can sure

One important thing is that, the way you speak -- the attitude and tone -- reflects the person you are and impacts everything around you. It can greatly contribute to your success or “non-success”

So, in conclusion, think before you speak. It will make a whole lot of difference.
