# LIGHT REVEALS YOUR RIGHT AND TERMINATES YOUR NIGHT
# IT IS THE BANKRUPTCY OF LIGHT THAT SPONSORS WORKS OF DARKNESS TODAY LIKE : SIN,  DISEASES,  POVERTY etc.
# BELIEVERS FALL INTO SIN AND BECOME ENSLAVED BY SIN BECAUSE THE LIGHT (TRUTH) IN THEIR SPIRIT IS NOT WEIGHTY ENOUGH TO MAKE THEM FREE COMPARED TO THE TEMPTATION THAT BRINGS THEM DOWN.

    COUNSEL:
- light comes from the point where the word of God you read begins to enter into your whole being
(spirit, Soul & body)
And naturally begins to drive out darkness.
- Pay attention to the word when ever you are reading the Bible, anointed books,  listening to preachings both in church and on tapes or watching it on cable and videos because impartation occurs often through that.

Introducing my first blog series - " Silenced cry" Episode 1 by Abaprissy

Standing, slightly bent while resting her hands on the dinning table, Ejiro burst into hot tears, remembering the beatings she had received from her husband the previous night. She picked her phone and decided to speak with her mum.

'hi baby',  the mum said from the other end immediately she had picked the call.

' mum... 'Ejiro managed to speak while sobbing

Sensing her daughter was crying, Mrs Ewefa eagerly inquired of her daughter what the problem was
' mum, I've had enough, I can't continue in this marriage ' Ejiro said.

Mrs Ewefa, with little relief, already knowing what the problem was, as it wasn't the first time her daughter would call to say she was leaving her husband's house, asked if it was the same old problem.

' He hit you again? ' she asked her daughter

'yes mum, last night, and this time, he went as far as kicking my tummy, knowing fully well I'm pregnant' Ejiro confirmed.

'oh my goodness, that's bad, but dear,  what happened this time? ' Mrs Ewefa asked with concern for her daughter

' because I couldn't make fresh soup, had to serve the same soup from yesterday's dinner; mum, he wouldn't even let me explain myself, he just got angry and started hitting me, forgetting I'm pregnant ' Ejiro narrated to her mum amidst tears.

'sorry baby, but you should have tried to make your husband fresh food, you already know he doesn't eat stale food ' Mrs Ewefa reprimanded, as she won't take any excuse from her daughter to leave Dan who had become their family's breadwinner since her husband, Mr Ewefa retired, and Ejiro's elder brothers were nothing to write home about.

' Ejiro... ' she continued ' please, try to endure and keep being that wife you've always been, and I know that with time and prayers, he'll change  and don't... '

' mum, can I ask you a question? ' Ejiro cuts in, obviously becoming pissed up with her mum

' Sure dear, what is it? ' replied her mum

' has father ever hit you? ' Ejiro asked

' what? God forbid!  He dare not ever even try to raise his hand on me' Mrs Ewefa exclaimed, shocking her daughter; she paused, sensing the tension her response may be causing, she thought to lighten up the mood

'sweetheart, listen to me, men are different; that your father isn't violent to the point of hitting me, doesn't mean he has no shortcomings, and so also is your husband, I know he is a good man. Just try to understand him better because, leaving him is not even an option. He is like our saviour in this family, so we can't avoid to lose him.. '

' stop it mum',  Cuts in  Ejiro, becoming really irritated by her mum's words,  ' I hate it when you talk as if we're dying when he came into our lives ; for crying out loud I'm a graduate of Accountancy, I can work to get my own money...'

'what money and certificate are you talking about? Mrs Ewefa interrupted 'have you forgotten Dan singlehandedly sponsored your university education from your 2nd year down to the day you hung your boots?

' mum, what is the need for that now, when I can't boast of nothing ' Ejiro stopped to let out those tears once more, remembering how Dan had collected her certificates, saying there was no need for her to work, as he could take care of all her needs. To think she had actually thought he did that out of care and the love he had for her, now she knows better ; Dan had done that with his selfish motive to keep her at home.

'hello... Ejiro, are you still there? ' her mum asked  breaking the silence after what seems like an unending pause

' yes mum' Ejiro answered in between sobs 'to tell you the truth, I now hate to look myself in the mirror, as all it  shows me, is a  sharp contrast of who I used to be'

'well mum, I think we should talk some other time, as my service provider is already warning me of low call credit '

' oh,  alright baby, do take care of yourself and be a good wife'

'alright mum, regards to dad' Ejiro said and quickly pushed the end button, relieved the conversation had ended. She let out a sign and thought aloud ' my mother will never change, maybe she's waiting to come pick my corpse'

She dropped her phone on the dinning table and went straight into the kitchen to begin preparation of her husband's favourite meal, pounded yam and vegetable soup.

Within an hour, Ejiro was done from the kitchen, she decided to have a quick shower as she expects her husband back home any moment.

She sat on the bed, giving her tummy some gentle strokes, trying to have a feel of her baby (she was about 6months gone),  when she felt his hand on her shoulder ; those hands whose touch would normally have waken the butterflies in her tummy and causing her increased heart rate and blood pressure, consequently sending more blood to her muscles.

But gosh, all she felt now, was cold quiver moving down her Spine, making her think of doing the unthinkable. Only God knows how much she now hates this man.

'hi darling ' her husband greeted

Thursday inspiration : get inspired with these few success stories

Get inspired with these short and quick inspirational stories of some of the most successful people that can help you know a lot about the
approach required to reach success .

(1) Soichiro Honda : Soichiro Honda is the founder
of the company Honda which is one of the well known large
automotive companies. Honda's story starts when he went for
a job interview to work for the Toyota company. Honda was
rejected and was told that he is not fit for the job!! The man
didn't give up and decided to create a company that competes
with Toyota and so honda was born!! If there is anything we
can learn from this inspiring success story it would be to never
give up.

(2)  Stephen King : Most people know
Stephen king the famous writer but few know about his life
story. Stephen's first novel was rejected almost everywhere it
was submitted to the extent that he threw it in the garbage!! His
wife got the story out of the garbage and insisted that he
submits it again and in the end he became the Stephen king we
know now!! There is a very important lesson you must come
up with from this inspirational success story which is that
rejections should make no sense at all if you believe in
yourself

(3) Thomas Edison : Thomas addition's
success story is one of the stories that can motivate anyone
after experiencing failure. Thomas failed about 999 times to
invent the lamp before he succeed in doing it on the 1000th
attempt. When people asked him how did you manage to keep
going even though you were failing all the time he replied
telling them, each time it didn't work i used to say i discovered
a new way how to not invent the lamp. Thomas Edison
success story should make you conclude that failure should
never stop you even if it occurred more than once.

(4)  Oprah Winfrey : One of the inspirational stories
that really motivated me the first time i read about it was the
success story of Oprah. Oprah is one of the most popular TV
icons nowadays and she is also one of the richest women on
our planet but this is not how her story began. Do you know
that Oprah was fired from her job and was told that she was
not fit for TV earlier in her life.

( 5)  Bill Gates : Bill gates the founder of Microsoft is
one of the most inspirational business leaders living these
days but do you know that his idea of creating a computer that
has a graphical interface and a mouse was rejected when he
first submitted it to another company? some people even say
that the papers of the project were thrown in his face!! Now he
became bill gates!!

Here are the major amendments made by the Senate to Nigeria constitution

Nigeria's eight Senate is currently voting on 33 major amendments to the Nigerian constitution.

They voted to give financial autonomy for local governments

Premium Times reports that about 95 senators are present for the Wednesday’s session.

And according to NAIJ.com, the Senate has also voted to reject state creation and boundary adjustment.

The Senate voted in favour of financial autonomy for states’ Houses of Assembly. It also gave its nod to financial autonomy for local governments.

The Senate also voted to reject devolution of power to States while voting to expand Council of states to include former NASS presiding officers.

They also voted to ensure ministerial nominees are sent with their portfolios within 30 days of inauguration of the president and of governors for states.

They also voted to empower INEC to deregister political parties over failure to secure an elective seat.

NAIJ.com had also reported that the 1999 Nigerian constitution is
about to receive a huge face-lift. On Tuesday, July 25, the Senate received a 33-item report on the fourth alteration of the constitution.

The report which calls for huge changes in the Constitution was presented by the deputy Senate president, Ike Ekweremadu. One major change being proposed is the alteration bill which seems to be in tandem with the “not too young to run” movement in Nigeria, seeking improved access for the Nigerian youth in government.

The bill now proposes 35 as the minimum age for the office of the President and being elected to the Senate; and 25 for the House of Representatives.

But  The Senate approval is just part of the processrequired for constitutional amendment. The final step lies with the presidency whose duty is to assent it.

Nigerian Senate Approves New Age Qualification For Political Offices

The approval was given yesterday at The Constitution Review Exercise
July 26,2017.

This is hoping it is great News and the approval will not only be in
paperwork.

Acting President Osinbajo swears in two new ministers

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Wednesday in Abuja swore-in
two new ministers, Stephen Ocheni from Kogi state and Suleiman
Hassan from Gombe state as members of the Federal Executive
Council (FEC).

Speaking at the event, Osinbajo challenged the new ministers to
actively participate in the task of turning around the nation’s
economy and making life better for all Nigerians.

He stated that the Federal Executive Council was committed to
implementing its far-reaching reform programmes as contained in
the Economic Recovery and Growth Plan and other such
documents.

“We have focused our intention on key areas of that economic
reform programme and those key areas have become really what
we believed need to be done to make a difference in the Nigerian
economy and in the life and livelihoods of Nigerians

“So, we expect that our new ministers will also join in this
Herculean task of turning around the Nigerian economy and
making life better for the citizens of this country.

“You know aside from economy we have two major areas which of
course as you know were highlighted by the president during the
course of the campaign and after and have become the
centrepieces of our administration’s programmes.

“Security and anti-corruption being the other two aside from the
economy and we expect of course members of the Executive
Council to focus on these key areas as well,’’ he said.

The acting president noted that the administration had recorded
appreciable progress in the area of security in spite of minor
security challenges in some parts of the country.

He, however, assured that the security challenges were being
tackled “on a day-by-day basis’’.

Osinbajo also enjoined the new ministers to join the anti-
corruption crusade.

“And also our conducts should be exemplary so that we are able
to show by practice not just by words that we are determined to
ensure that this country is where there is good governance and
where there is honesty and integrity in service to the people.’’

It would be recalled that Ocheni and Hassan were confirmed by
the Senate in May.

Ocheni replaces the late Minister of State for Labour, Mr James
Ocholi, who died in a ghastly auto-crash along Kaduna-Abuja
highway in 2016, while Hassan takes the place of Amina
Mohammed.

Mohammed resigned as Minister of Environment to take up the job
of Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations

Wondering why N. Korea still hates the US so much? The legacy of the Korean War

The pause button was hit on the Korean War 64 years
ago Thursday. Its legacy of destruction lives on.

In just three years, the war claimed the lives of millions of people
and forever changed the Korean Peninsula.

"We went over there and fought the war and eventually burned
down every town in North Korea anyway, some way or another,
and some in South Korea, too," said former US air force
commander General Curtis LeMay in 1988, during an interview for
an Air Force military history volume.

By the time the armistice was signed on July 27, 1953, North
Korea -- which began the war with a population of 9.6 million --
had suffered an estimated 1.3 million civilian and military
casualties, according to figures cited by the US Air Force. South
Korea, meanwhile, suffered up to 3 million civilian and 225,000
military casualties, from a total population of around 20.2 million
in 1950.

The war was one that many were reluctant to join, coming as it did
just five years after the end of World War II.

General Douglas MacArthur, a legendary figure in the US military
who went on to become the commander-in-chief of the United
Nations Command at the onset of the war, said during a
congressional hearing in 1951 that he had never seen such
devastation.

"I shrink with horror that I cannot express in words -- at this
continuous slaughter of men in Korea," MacArthur said. "I have
seen, I guess, as much blood and disaster as any living man, and
it just curdled my stomach, the last time I was there."

More than 33,000 Americans were killed in the fighting and
600,000 from the Chinese military -- who joined to protect their
fellow communist neighbors -- were left dead or missing.

The Chinese and the Americans went home after the fighting, but
North Koreans stayed amid the ruins of the battle -- their entire
infrastructure decimated, their towns and cities completely
obliterated.

Though the armistice date holds some significance in the United
States -- the US will start the process of banning Americans from
travel to North Korea Thursday -- the legacy of destruction was
and remains a key piece of propaganda for Kim Il Sung, his son
Kim Jong Il and his grandson Kim Jong Un, who now rules the
country.

The 'original sin'

For North Koreans, destruction came from above. The conflict is
seen as the first large-scale air campaign conducted by the US Air
Force.

American fighter jets dropped approximately 635,000 tons of
explosives on North Korea (that's more in three years than during
the entire Pacific theater of World War II), including 32,000 tons of
napalm, according to historian Charles Armstrong.

That continued fear of deadly US military airstrikes helps the North
Korean government to portray Americans as a far-away
caricature, a faceless enemy that leveled their country and could
do so again.

"The bombing is treated as the American original sin in the (North
Korean) propaganda and it certainly was savage," according to
Robert E. Kelly, a professor of political science at South Korea's
Pusan National University. "It's become a political tool to justify
the permanent emergency state. Japanese colonization is used the
same."

A 'Sea of Blood'

Most historians say the war started when the eldest Kim invaded
the south, but North Korea teaches its citizens the United States
started the war -- and only the Kim family can protect them.

The North Korean state attempts to engender a visceral hatred for
the United States: Kindergarteners draw anti-American martial
images. The news media releases videos of the US military in
flames. The June 25 anniversary of the start of the Korean War is
"the day of struggle against US imperialism."

The man who led them through war, Kim Il Sung, is revered as a
god in North Korea and credited with countless accomplishments:
most notably inventing the country's guiding ideology, juche --
which means self-reliance -- and liberating the Korean Peninsula
from Japanese occupation.

Works of poetry and art are also attributed to him -- and lionized
by North Koreans.

An example of this is the play, "The Sea of Blood." Considered
among the country's most important cultural works, it tells the
story of a poor farmer who joins the fight against the Japanese
occupation. He is killed, but his wife, who joins the Communist
resistance, goes on to help defeat the Japanese.

The play -- which is quite violent and carries strong ethnocentric
undertones, North Korea analysts say -- is a key juche text, due to
its courageous, independent and patriotic protagonist.

The juche ideology has been hammered into the North Korean
psyche since Kim first introduced it during the 1950s. Works of
propaganda like "Sea of Blood" -- and the fact that it's nearly
impossible for those inside the country to get information from the
outside world -- help reinforce the underdog, survivor mentality
that is at the heart of the juche idea.

Nuclear weapons

That survivor mentality extends into government, too. The
country's constitution states that "national defense is the supreme
duty and honor of citizens," and the country is governed by the
"songun" -- or military-first -- policy, which places the armed
forces above all else.

When it comes to North Korea's nuclear and missile programs, the
Kim regime looks at leaders like Moammar Gadhafi -- who gave
up his pursuit of nuclear weapons for security guarantees and
sanctions relief but was eventually ousted and killed -- and
believes those weapons are the key to regime survival.

So the country spends an incredibly high percentage of its budget
on defense, and tells its people that the expenditures are crucial to
preventing a US invasion.

With the country's apparent successful test of an intercontinental
ballistic missile earlier this month, they may be getting close to
that goal.

"Now that the DPRK's (the Democratic People's Republic of Korea,
North Korea's official name) capability to strike the very heart of
the US at any given time has been physically proved, the US would
find it more difficult to dare attack the DPRK," the North Korean
Foreign Ministry said in a statement shortly after the missile
launch.

"This is the only way to defend oneself and safeguard the dignity of
the nation in the present hostile world where the law of the jungle
prevails."

The CBN stated that the amount was illegally removed from
the accounts of bank customers across the country in the
past five years.

The Acting Director , Corporate Communications , CBN, Mr .
Isaac Okorafor , disclosed this in Port Harcourt during an
interactive session with stakeholders, including labour
union leaders, in the South-South zone .

Okoroafor stated that the recovery and return of the funds
to customers became necessary after series of complaints on
illegal deductions from their accounts by commercial bank
customers got to the apex bank .

Putting the exact amount recovered and returned by the
CBN Consumer Protection Department at N 51 , 913,350,828. 85 , he explained that $ 18 , 191,444. 19 , € 26 . 286,62 and £ 6 ,000 were also recovered within the period .

Okorafor , who was represented by an assistant director in
the apex bank , John Attah, recalled that the CBN received
10 , 548 complaints, adding that the amounts recovered were
from 5 ,746 resolved cases .

He stated , “ When such complaints are received , the CBN
will embark on a thorough investigation of what happened
and how the deductions were made. If we discover that the
bank was wrong , we will write and order the bank to
return the money to the customer ’s account .

“ We do not keep this kind of money in any special account .
Someone owns it and the banks know the accounts from
where they made the deductions . So , we mandate them to
pay it back into the accounts . ”

He , however , expressed the apex bank ’s continued
commitment to customers ’ protection , adding that the
interactive session was aimed at educating stakeholders,
particularly labour unions , on some of the financial policy
drives of the CBN.

Okorafor stated that such financial initiatives were targeted
at closing the gaps in the economy to foster development
and safety of citizens.

On the Bank Verification Number , the acting director
explained that the initiative was brought into the banking
system to solve the challenges of customer identification
based on finger prints .

“ People use different names to open different accounts for
different reasons and purposes; but with the help of the
BVN , we should be able to know who is operating what
account irrespective of the name . This has made criminals
and fraudsters , who are operating secret accounts , to
abandon their accounts in order not to be caught ,” he
stated.

The Vice President , Industrial Global Union , Mr . Issa Aremu ,
expressed gratitude to the CBN Governor, Mr. Godwin
Emefiele , for interfacing with labour unions on financial
literacy since the past three years .
