_The Secret Place V - The place of installation of resources for your life’s journey_

_He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty_ – Psalms 91:1

_And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day._ Genesis 32:24

This is a great day for you sir/ma.

Last week, we looked at a phase of the secret place as the place of private personal relationship with God, a place of intimacy with the Spirit.

Your relationship with God must be in the similitude of newly wedded spouse or new found love where all that predominantly occupies their thoughts is spending time together not wanting to let go.

Hear this, if your relationship, intercourse, and communion with Jesus is not like that of love birds or newly wedded couple, you are in the wrong.

This week, we trust God to take us higher in the theme “the secret place”, as we journey together today, I trust God to be merciful on us and grant us access into the mysteries surrounding the theme. Our times on earth is but transitory, on our brief sojourn here on the earth, we would need installed resources – both physical, psychological and spiritual virtues to function effectively.

Just like acquiring a new computer system, you’d need to install the needed system and application software for optimal enjoyment, failure to do so would result in little or no gain from the acquired computer for the computer is useless without the system’s software. The system’s software manages all that concerns the workability of the computer.
Like the computer, your workability, usability and scope of influence is a function of what has been installed in you from the secret place. You can never function outside your installed virtues.

Jacob had to be left alone so installations can be made in him, Jacob before his encounter with God struggled through life as a charlatan but when he got alone with God, he had status change installed, he got power with God and power with men installed in him. He got clarity installed, he got an upgrade of the covenant God made with Abraham. In order to triumph in life and destiny, it is compulsory we have power with God, this power only comes from spending good amounts of quality time with God.

_Then the devil left him,  and behold,  angels came and were ministering to him._ – Matt. 4: 11

_And he was in the wilderness forty days,  being tempted by Satan.  And he was with the wild animals,  and the angels were ministering to him._ – Mark 1:13

Jesus away from the crowd, spent 40days and nights in the wilderness, on his return He was tempted by the devil, unknown to the tempter, Jesus just finished the installation of defences against the onslaughts of darkness. Moses who was a hot tempered man got the highest version of meekness software. The bible records in Numbers 12:3  (Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth. You cannot spend time with God and not have God install His virtues in you.

Hear this, fire can be caught at a congregational level but they are only fanned into flame by your alignment with the Consuming fire. Fire can be caught in church meetings and programs but would die out when fuel is not added in the secret place of fellowship with God.

The computer have various software packages, some are for special functions, others are to enhance the computers functions, others serve to enhance computer’s connection to other device.

By way of reiteration, your life on this brief transit through earth would only make sense when you submit yourself to God for installation and uninstallation of the needed for your life Journey. If you ever want to cause a change in your given sphere – your ministry, your place of work/studies, your God given assignment, you family and the society, you must become one whose signature is recognized in the secret place. Spending quality alone-time in the secret is the place where God immerses in and endues us with power to effect that change.

It is not about working for God.

It is not about standing and ministering in the sanctuary.

It is not about the display of power.

It is not about the manifestations of your spiritual gifts.

It is not about external accomplishments.

Beloved, it is about your WALK with God. It is about your FELLOWSHIP with HIS PRESENCE.

Do you care for God’s presence?

Do you crave power with God that transform to power in life?

Would you like to in reality live, move and have your being in God?

YES?!

Then, you can only achieve your YES only when you live in HIM by dwelling with HIM and spending time with HIM as your everyday values and principles and your way of life

Love.
AE Paul.

Benefits of eating Dates Fruit

Dates (known as Dabino in Hausa) cultivation is as old as man himself. But its cultivation have been estimated to have started at approximately 6000 BC.

The Dates fruit which comes in various varieties and sizes can be eaten fresh or dried depending on the taste of the consumer. Whether it is eaten dried or raw, its nutritional value still remains unchanged.

Research has shown that dates fruit contains fiber, potassium, copper, manganese, magnesium, Vitmain B6 and sugar.

The fruits may not be a storehouse of nutrients but it contains quite a good number of nutritional benefits to mankind. Such benefits include the following;

Its fiber content is good and essential for colon health and it helps reduces constipation. Apart from this, the fiber content boosts the efficiency of the digestive system; the fiber also helps boost the heart health.

The presence of magnesium and potassium makes it an inflammatory which has effects on Tumour Necrosis factor (TNF) and Interleukin 6 (IL-6). The potassium is essential for blood clothing.

A daily consumption can prevent inflammation diseases such as arthritis and Alzheimer’s diseases. Its magnesium content can also be harnessed to reduce blood pressure.

Healthy pregnancy and delivery: Research has shown that consumption of dates in the last 4 weeks before labour significantly reduced the need for induction and Vitamin B6 is good for augmentation of labour and brain health.

The benefits of eating dates cannot be overemphasized and more researchers are still unveiling the untapped health benefits of eating dates fruit.

Confession of a scammer

Source unknown please...

I created a website where I promise to double the income of participants by 30%. The first participant joins with N20k. I need him to be convinced that my website pays So I use my own money to make up for the 30% and he goes home happy. I tell him he gets extra bonuses if he brings a friend and he does exactly that. Two of his friends sign up with N20k each and I return their investment with my own money and give my first client a special bonus for bringing them.

His friends are aware their colleague got a bonus for bringing them in. They get greedy, they bring more people. At this point, everyone wants bonuses as my system is verified and working.

More people join in, so I'm not using my money to pay them anymore, I'm using their money to pay them and waiting for more members to join so there'll always be money in the system. I see a huge investment of N1m from a greedy participant, I run the website with money and I've spent my own money to build the trust in the system so I pair the provider of N1m with myself. Then get about 30 people providing N50k to pay him back in 30 days, he has N1.3m. My system is working, he tells his colleagues in his social class and they're all excited.

My first members who started with N20k have gotten greedy, they've created multiple accounts to cash out but I don't care. The big fishes are in the game. The big monies are being paired with me, I'm no longer providing money but I'm getting money. Whenever I see a large amount to be donated, I immediately pair the account to mine. Effortlessly a millionaire.

The system continues to thrive because new members keep coming in. There is a wild recession in the country, my scheme is the escape route. People have paid rents, school fees, bought cars and funded their ceremonies with my scheme. I am suddenly an employer of labour.

But all good things must come to an end, I have successfully built a network of participants running into millions but there is a serious cash deficit. It is ...almost Christmas and almost everyone needs 30% of their investment back. Because I've been collecting millions as an admin without donating, and because there are not enough new members to match the financial demands of the existing members, my system has collapsed but I am not done getting my millions from gullible people.

I announce a freeze on the website for technical reasons. I've done a lot for them so they believe me that I'm just protecting the system from crash even when it was not the wise thing to believe.
I told them they couldn't receive money this period but they could still donate.

The one month freeze was an attempt to see if I could pay the existing members from the donations of new members. Sadly, some people had lost faith in the system, the new and existing members were afraid to make donations during the freeze because they were unsure of getting their 30% returns back. Plus there were a lot of evil people on social media spreading propaganda that my scheme was a Ponzi that had ended.

I needed that trust back, so I relaunched my website a day before the scheduled return. You needed to see the excitement. It was Christmas on January 13, I told existing people that had provided donations that they could now get help. I also added some attractive incentives for new members. I still faced the same problem that made me shut down temporarily, even worse.

The people that provided help during the shut down all requested help, plus there had already been a long list of people before then. So I decided to pair those that needed less than N30k first to check the rotation of money. Still there was not enough money to go round. The people that were paired to pay others refused to pay, the trust was gone. People had suddenly realised that it was not possible for 30% to be added to your money unless someone lost their own money.
Several other schemes took over my place when I was frozen. All will eventually meet their ends. Greed always comes to ...an end.

People still live in delusions of grandeur that I have not crashed. Perhaps they expect me to put a memo in my website that it is over. Lol. I really don't blame their naivety, I did do a lot for them to trust me.
I would advise that people make more intelligent financial decisions next time. People lost millions to me because of greed. Do I feel guilty? No. I did warn them to use their SPARE money.

I am a Ponzi Scheme. What's my name?

What are you after adversity?

I love what Arthur Golden said about Adversity  "Adversity is like a strong wind. It tears away from us all but the things that cannot be torn, so that we see ourselves as we really are".

In life, things happen around us, things happen to us, but
the only thing that truly matters is what happens within us.
Which one are you?

I don't know what turbulence you're currently in, what's important is how you come out of it.

Here is a story of the Potato, egg and the coffee bean.
They all went through he'll but came out differently.

Once upon a time a daughter complained to her father that her life
was miserable and that she didn’t know how she was going to
make it. She was tired of fighting and struggling all the time.

It seemed just as one problem was solved, another one soon
followed.

Her father, a chef, took her to the kitchen. He filled three pots with
water and placed each on a high fire.

Once the three pots began to boil, he placed potatoes in one pot, eggs in the second pot, and ground coffee beans in the third pot.

He then let them sit and boil, without saying a word to his daughter.

The daughter, moaned and impatiently waited, wondering what he was doing.

After twenty minutes he turned off the burners. He took the
potatoes out of the pot and placed them in a bowl. He pulled the
eggs out and placed them in a bowl.

He then ladled the coffee out and placed it in a cup.

Turning to her he asked. “Daughter, what do you see?”

“Potatoes, eggs, and coffee,” she hastily replied.

“Look closer,” he said, “and touch the potatoes.” She did and noted
that they were soft. He then asked her to take an egg and break it.

After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard-boiled egg.

Finally, he asked her to sip the coffee. Its rich aroma brought a
smile to her face.

“Father, what does this mean?” she asked./

He then explained that the potatoes, the eggs and coffee beans had
each faced the same adversity– the boiling water.

However, each one reacted differently.

The potato went in strong, hard, and unrelenting, but in boiling
water, it became soft and weak.

The egg was fragile, with the thin outer shell protecting its liquid
interior until it was put in the boiling water.

Then the inside of the egg became hard.

However, the ground coffee beans were unique.

After they were exposed to the boiling water, they changed the water and created something new.

“Which are you,” he asked his daughter. “When adversity knocks
on your door, how do you respond? Are you a potato, an egg, or a
coffee bean?

And I'm asking you tonight, which are you?

And remember  Yvonne Pierre's words...

"Use what you’ve been through as fuel, believe in yourself and
be unstoppable!"

Serena Williams beats Venus Williams to win record 23rd major

Serena Williams rewrote tennis history books once again, this time with sister Venus across the net and her fiance Alexis Ohanian watching from the stands.

When Serena beat her older sibling in the Australian Open final 6-4 6-4, she collected a 23rd grand slam title to surpass Steffi Graf for the Open Era lead.

Now she only trails all-time leader Margaret Court by one major and the way she played in Melbourne -- not dropping a set -- Serena, 35, is looking good to achieve that feat later in 2017.

"It's never enough, 23, 24, 25," Serena told the crowd after her win. "I felt like I really elevated my game this year.

"It's such a great feeling to have 23. I've been chasing it for a really long time," she later told reporters. "I knew I had an opportunity to get it here and I'm here."

As a considerable bonus Saturday evening, Serena also regained the No. 1 ranking from Angelique Kerber. Last year the German upset Serena Williams to win the title.

"I didn't know that," said Serena. "It feels good." Serena had her game face on throughout, but the sisters exchanged an extended hug after Serena converted on her first match point in one hour, 22 minutes. The
competitors in them took a backseat.

"Your win has always been my win," Venus told the crowd, referring to Serena. "All the times I couldn't be there, didn't get there, you were there."

It simply wasn't meant to be for Venus, who appeared to be the crowd favorite at Rod Laver Arena.

At 36, she was the oldest Australian Open finalist in the Open Era. Her celebration after winning in the semifinals is sure to be one of tennis' memorable moments come the end of the long campaign.

Venus had last played in a grand slam final in 2009 at Wimbledon, when Serena once again came out on top. Her career has been slowed after she was diagnosed with autoimmune disorder Sjogren's Syndrome in 2011.

"It was great to have an opportunity to play for the title," Venus said. "That's exactly where I want to be standing during these grand slams. That's the highlight of all this, is to be in that moment."

In keeping with their head-to-head record -- Serena now leads 17-11 and 7-2 in grand slam finals -- it was her kid sister who would have the final say in Melbourne.

Trump says US will prioritize Christian refugees

President Donald Trump said in a new interview Friday that persecuted Christians will be given priority over other refugees seeking to enter the United States, saying they have been "horribly treated."

Speaking with the Christian Broadcasting Network, Trump said that it had been "impossible, or at least very tough" for Syrian Christians to enter the United States.

"If you were a Muslim you could come in, but if you were a Christian, it was almost impossible and the reason that was so unfair -- everybody was persecuted, in all fairness -- but they were chopping off the heads of everybody but more so the Christians.

And I thought it was very, very unfair. So we are going to help them."
Trump did not name a reason or offer any evidence about why the agencies that vet refugees, including the Department of Homeland Security and the State Department, would have prioritized Muslim refugees over Christians.

According to a report by the non-partisan Pew Research Center, however, 99% of the nearly 12,600 Syrians granted refugee status last year were Muslims. Less than 1% were Christian. Syria's population is 87% Muslim and 10% Christian, according to the CIA World Fact Book.

Also on Friday, Trump signed an executive order explicitly freezing refugee applications from Syria. It's unclear how his pledge to help persecuted Christians from that country will accord with the order.

The United States admitted a record number of 38,901 Muslim refugees in 2016, according to a study conductedby Pew . But
nearly the same number of Christians,37,521 were also admitted.

At the same time, many Christian groups that resettle refugees in the United States decry the persecution of their brethren overseas, but said the country should not give favor to fellow Christians or bar Muslims.

"We would resist that strongly," Scott Arbeiter, Presidentof World Relief, the humanitarian arm of the National Association of Evangelicals and one of nine agencies that partner with the federal government to resettle refugees.

"Some of the most vulnerable people in the world right now are Muslims. If we say no Muslim should be let in, we are denying the humanity and dignity of people made in the image of God."

Arbeiter said he and his group have tried unsuccessfully to meet with the new Trump administration to discuss refugee policy.

A study conducted by the libertarian Cato Institute found that between 1975-2015, the United States admitted approximately 700,000 asylum-seekers and 3.25 million refugees. Four asylum-seekers and 20 refugees later became terrorists and launched attacks on US soil.

"The chance of being murdered in a terrorist attack committed by an asylum-seeker was one in 2.73 billion a year," wrote the study's author, Alex Nowrasteh.

"The chance of being murdered in a terrorist attack committed
by a refugee is one in 3.64 billion a year."

Here is The Passerby talking - How to be employed as a student on Campus

We now We now live in a society where the labour market is already congested with little or no space for new comers. Each year, Institutions of higher learning always push graduates into the already congested labour market.

As a student, you need not depend on the stipends your parents send you on weekly or monthly basis when you can be gainfully employed, doing your own job and getting some extra cash to keep body and soul together. This is just a fragment of the list of lucrative things you can do as a student of higher institution.

1. Bulk SMS services: As students, there is always a need for the fellowship, department, associations, organisations and even the religious bodies to keep in touch with their members. You can run this business without it even affecting your lecture schedules. All you need for this business is a functional bank account, access to the internet and a good communication skill to convince the customer about your pricing. You can start this business with as low as N2, 000.

2. T-shirt customization: Each semester in school, we see how almost every department/organization (religious or social) will love to have a customized t-shirt as a sign of achievement for that year. As a student, you can go into the art of designing the shirts and receive your pay in no time. If you are really good, you will have to be turning down requests because they will be coming in their numbers. Although this business requires a special skill in the sense that the student will have to be good at graphics design to be able to bring out a good design on the T-shirts, but s/he can still make a good cash from this business. The good thing about this business is that you can learn the skill while at home on holidays. This business can be started on a small scale with as low as N5, 000.

3. Catering services: The list will be incomplete without including this vocation. Students are always on the move to celebrate virtually everything (from birthdays, matriculations, end of the semester) in grand styles. These functions are incomplete without a cake and other snacks served as refreshment. As a student, you can offer catering services to your colleagues at a very affordable price and if you are good at it, the pay is good. Although the market for this skill is now overloaded but you can make an impact if you can build your skills. Bear it in mind that starting this business may be quite expensive due to the price of the equipments involved but the pay is good and it is a guaranteed way to attract more cash into your bank account.

4. Sales of fashion items: This is also a good business for students on campus but it is quite very risky. One has to be very careful when engaging in this type of business. Students can sell items such as underwear, clothes, footwear, wristwatches, handbags, earrings and the list is just endless. This business can be set up with as low as N 20, 000 and subsequent expansion can be made later.

5. Tech stuff: Students can engage in the repairs of gadgets such as laptops, handsets etc. Providing tech stuff can also be a good way in getting extra cash on your pockets.

6. Graphic design and photography: As a student, you can be engaged in design of phone stickers, banners, digital passports and photographs. You can also design customized invitation cards for events.

Contrary to public opinion that a student should always be broke, once you can find what is lacking in your hostel, department or even organization, you are sure to succeed.

_The Secret Place. III – An intimate place of personal relationship and communion with God_*

Top of the day to you, did you read my last post? We saw how the secret place works for all who would only decide to take advantage of it. Dwelling in the secret place is a PRINCIPLE that is universally relevant.

_He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty._ – Psalms 91:1[KJV]

_So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the LORD his God._ 2Chronicles 27:6.

Today, our focus would be on the place of intimacy, a place of personal relationship and communion with God.

He that dwells … shall abide, intimacy with God is meant to be an unending, continuing process, it is open ended as it is meant to continue till eternity. The creation of you and I was necessitated by God’s desire for relationship, Christ Jesus had to die to reconcile us back to our lost relationship with God. Christ came down to the earth so we could have a complete and an all-expense paid relationship with our Father and God.

Dwelling in the secret place is meant to cause our relationship with the Father grow deeper and stronger and sweeter, it is meant to intensify our devotion and love for God, it is also to grow our obedience to God even as our love is been increased because of our intimacy with the Father.  Everything we are or will become and do or will do will be birthed out of that time we spend with Him.

Intimacy with the Father is not a one-time event as many believers only become intimate with the Father when there is an issue – problem, need or mountain to be surmounted. Dwelling in the secret place is a lifestyle that every believer must lead. To abide means to remain, continue, to stay – to remain in, to continue and to stay in relationship with the Father.

Don’t be deceived, not contravening any of the Ten Commandments is not intimacy, knowing and memorizing and being able to quote the scriptures without any error is does not equal relationship with God, church attendance and working in the sanctuary of God is not the same as intimacy with God, all the above are activities of religion. It is coming to and surrendering to the presence of God, yielding to the indwelling presence of God in complete obedience and to be broken.

When your life is everyday been built on the intimacy of the secret place relationship with God, your life is securely built on Christ Jesus, the solid Rock.

Relationship and intimacy are for our good, growth and development. If you are doubtful, ask King Jotham.

Intimacy with God in the secret place is key to accessing God’s classified information, access are the exclusive reserve of those who are intimate with God.

Intimacy with God is cultured when we spend time with Him in His presence.

The Psalmist cried out saying “early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee…”

If you want to get intimate with the Lord, then you have to spend and devote time in His presence.

Are you hungry to know God, are you thirsty of an intimate relationship with God, do you want Him as a true companion, spend time with Him!

Love
AE Paul

When men were boys

Senator Ben Bruce shared this throwback picture of him and his sister
Which was taken in London some years ago.

Men... He was just 18 then .

See his then and now photos of Senator Ben Murray Bruce

Everyone has got a story, what's yours?

I believe every single person on the planet has got a story.

We tend to judge people before you truly get to know them.

And believe me, the truth might surprise you.

I  Just feel like sharing this with you.

What else do I say?

Hmmmmmmmm...

Ok, here we go...

A 24 year old boy seeing out from the train’s window shouted…
“Dad, look the trees are going behind!”

Dad smiled and a young couple sitting nearby, looked at the 24
year old’s childish behavior with pity, suddenly he again
exclaimed…

“Dad, look the clouds are running with us!”

The couple couldn’t resist and said to the old man…

“Why don’t you take your son to a good doctor?” The old man
smiled and said…“I did and we are just coming from the hospital,
my son was blind from birth, he just got his eyes today.”

The End

So, I think with the above story, we've learnt something.

And please... Don't be in haste in making deduction.

WORD BANQUET INT'L(WOBIC). 23RD JANUARY MON 2017 TODAY'S PRAYER

DEAR FORGIVING FATHER, I Thank You for word that is changing my mindset each day; I'm quick to believe the word of God, if God said it, I believe it, and that settles it(Matt18:3).

This day and week, I refuse any form of negativity that would stop me from fulfilling God's divine purpose and I say YES to right thinking, talking and actions; my life is for God(Jh4:24)!

This is my week of great transformation.

Amen...

HAPPY NEW WEEK

Sunday 22 January 2017

President Donald Trump's Inaugural Speech

''Chief Justice Roberts, President Carter, President Clinton,
President Bush, President Obama, fellow Americans, and people of
the world: thank you
.
We, the citizens of America, are now joined in a great national
effort to rebuild our country and to restore its promise for all of our
people.
Together, we will determine the course of America and the world
for years to come.
We will face challenges. We will confront hardships. But we will
get the job done.
Every four years, we gather on these steps to carry out the orderly
and peaceful transfer of power, and we are grateful to President
Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama for their gracious aid
throughout this transition. They have been magnificent. Thank
you.
Today’s ceremony, however, has very special meaning. Because
today we are not merely transferring power from one
administration to another, or from one party to another — but we
are transferring power from Washington, DC and giving it back to
you, the American people.
For too long, a small group in our nation’s capital has reaped the
rewards of government while the people have borne the cost.
Washington flourished — but the people did not share in its wealth.
Politicians prospered — but the jobs left, and the factories closed.
The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our
country.
Their victories have not been your victories; their triumphs have
not been your triumphs; and while they celebrated in our nation’s
capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all
across our land.
That all changes — starting right here, and right now, because this
moment is your moment: it belongs to you.
It belongs to everyone gathered here today and everyone watching
all across America.
This is your day. This is your celebration.
And this, the United States of America, is your country.
What truly matters is not which party controls our government, but
whether our government is controlled by the people.
January 20th, 2017 will be remembered as the day the people
became the rulers of this nation again.
The forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no
longer.
Everyone is listening to you now.
You came by the tens of millions to become part of a historic
movement the likes of which the world has never seen before.
At the center of this movement is a crucial conviction: that a nation
exists to serve its citizens.
Americans want great schools for their children, safe
neighborhoods for their families, and good jobs for themselves.
These are the just and reasonable demands of a righteous public.
But for too many of our citizens, a different reality exists: Mothers
and children trapped in poverty in our inner cities; rusted-out
factories scattered like tombstones across the landscape of our
nation; an education system, flush with cash, but which leaves our
young and beautiful students deprived of knowledge; and the crime
and gangs and drugs that have stolen too many lives and robbed
our country of so much unrealized potential.
This American carnage stops right here and stops right now.
We are one nation — and their pain is our pain.
Their dreams are our dreams; and their success will be our success.
We share one heart, one home, and one glorious destiny.
The oath of office I take today is an oath of allegiance to all
Americans.
For many decades, we’ve enriched foreign industry at the expense
of American industry; Subsidized the armies of other countries while allowing for the very sad depletion of our military; We’ve defended other nation’s borders while refusing to defend our own;
We’ve made other countries rich while the wealth, strength, and
confidence of our country has disappeared over the horizon.
One by one, the factories shuttered and left our shores, with not
even a thought about the millions upon millions of American
workers left behind.
The wealth of our middle class has been ripped from their homes
and then redistributed across the entire world.
But that is the past. And now we are looking only to the future.
We assembled here today are issuing a new decree to be heard in
every city, in every foreign capital, and in every hall of power.
From this day forward, a new vision will govern our land.
From this moment on, it’s going to be only America First.
America First.
Every decision on trade, on taxes, on immigration, on foreign
affairs, will be made to benefit American workers and American
families.
We must protect our borders from the ravages of other countries
making our products, stealing our companies, and destroying our
jobs. Protection will lead to great prosperity and strength.
I will fight for you with every breath in my body — and I will never,
ever let you down.
America will start winning again, winning like never before.
We will bring back our jobs. We will bring back our borders.
We will bring back our wealth. And we will bring back our dreams.
We will build new roads, and highways, and bridges, and airports,
and tunnels, and railways all across our wonderful nation.
We will get our people off of welfare and back to work — rebuilding
our country with American hands and American labor.
We will follow two simple rules: Buy American and Hire American.
We will seek friendship and goodwill with the nations of the world
— but we do so with the understanding that it is the right of all
nations to put their own interests first.
We do not seek to impose our way of life on anyone, but rather to
let it shine as an example for everyone to follow.
We will reinforce old alliances and form new ones — and unite the
civilized world against radical Islamic terrorism, which we will
eradicate completely from the face of the Earth.
At the bedrock of our politics will be a total allegiance to the
United States of America, and through our loyalty to our country,
we will rediscover our loyalty to each other.
When you open your heart to patriotism, there is no room for
prejudice.
The Bible tells us, “how good and pleasant it is when God’s people
live together in unity.”
We must speak our minds openly, debate our disagreements
honestly, but always pursue solidarity.
When America is united, America is totally unstoppable.
There should be no fear — we are protected, and we will always be
protected.
We will be protected by the great men and women of our military
and law enforcement and, most importantly, we will be protected
by God.
Finally, we must think big and dream even bigger.
In America, we understand that a nation is only living as long as it
is striving.
We will no longer accept politicians who are all talk and no action
— constantly complaining but never doing anything about it.
The time for empty talk is over.
Now arrives the hour of action.
Do not let anyone tell you it cannot be done. No challenge can
match the heart and fight and spirit of America.
We will not fail. Our country will thrive and prosper again.
We stand at the birth of a new millennium, ready to unlock the
mysteries of space, to free the Earth from the miseries of disease,
and to harness the energies, industries and technologies of
tomorrow.
A new national pride will stir our souls, lift our sights, and heal our
divisions.
It is time to remember that old wisdom our soldiers will never
forget: that whether we are black or brown or white, we all bleed
the same red blood of patriots, we all enjoy the same glorious
freedoms, and we all salute the same great American flag.
And whether a child is born in the urban sprawl of Detroit or the
windswept plains of Nebraska, they look up at the same night sky,
they fill their heart with the same dreams, and they are infused
with the breath of life by the same almighty Creator.
So to all Americans, in every city near and far, small and large,
from mountain to mountain, and from ocean to ocean, hear these
words:
You will never be ignored again.
Your voice, your hopes, and your dreams, will define our American
destiny. And your courage and goodness and love will forever
guide us along the way.
Together, We will make America strong again.
We will make America wealthy again.
We will make America proud again.
We will make America safe again.
And, yes, together, we will make America great again.
Thank you,
God bless you, and God bless America''.

President Buhari not dead please

By Levinus Nwabughiogu- Vanguard News

ABUJA-The Presidency last night refuted speculations that
President Muhammadu Buhari was in a terrible health condition
that could lead to his death, saying the president was well and
alive.

The presidency spoke through the two media aides of the
president on media and publicity namely Mr. Femi Adesina
who’s the Special Adviser and Mallam Garba Shehu who’s the
Senior Special Assistant.

In his reaction to the speculations on his Twitter handle,
Adesina thanked all those who wished the president well while
asking for the Grace of God for repentance on all those who
carried the rumors.

He said: “Best wishes to all who wish PMB well. As for those
who carry evil rumours, may they receive grace to repent.”

Also reacting to speculations concerning the health of the
president, Shehu, in a message he posted on twitter @GarShehu
said: “The president cannot be holidaying in the United Kingdom
and be in Germany, dead or alive at the same time. ”

He added that Buhari “was unlike a past president who was at
Ota with Chief Obasanjo and attending the Trump inauguration
in Washington DC, being in two places at the same time.”

It will be recalled that president Buhari left Nigeria on Thursday
for United Kingdom on a medical vacation.

The nature of his sickness was not disclosed but the presidency
called it a routine medical checkup.

Wednesday inspiration : have you heard of the story about the man who changed how Americans eat chicken? Colonel Sanders | Kentucky Fried Chicken

An elderly man, who was so broke, living in a small
house and owned an old car.

He was living off of $99 social security checks.

At 65 years of age, he decide things had to change. So he thought about what he had to offer. His friends raved about his chicken recipe.

He decided that this was his best shot at making a change.

He left Kentucky and traveled to different states to try to sell his
recipe. He told restaurant owners that he had a mouthwatering
chicken recipe.

He offered the recipe to them for free, just asking for a small percentage on the items sold. Sounds like a good deal, right?
Unfortunately, not to most of the restaurants.

He heard NO over 1000 times. Even after all of those rejections, he didn’t give up.

He believed his chicken recipe was something special. He got
rejected 1009 times before he heard his first yes.

With that one success Colonel Hartland Sanders changed the way
Americans eat chicken.

Kentucky Fried Chicken, popularly known as KFC, was born.

Remember, never give up and always believe in yourself in spite of
rejection.

It doesn't matter how many Nos' you must have gotten, all you need is a single 'Yes'.

But to get that 'Yes',  you must continue to strive .

So sweetie, get out of your comfort zone to a place you can showcase that talent.

WORD BANQUET INT'L(WOBIC) 18TH JANUARY WED 2017. TODAY'S PRAYER

DEAR EVER-LOVING FATHER, I Thank You for giving me today that the harvest is much, every dry place in my life is 'Dropping' sweet wine and every hills is melting(Amos9:13)!

Teach me to humble myself everyday, not to be wise in my own eyes, and not to take ungodly counsel(Oba1:8).

Father more of You; Conciously abide in You and You in me Jesus!

I live by the word and be the word!

Amen

Congratulations, I heard you are also interested in blogging; Our able Gana Dan(the passerby) has some tips for us

Before going through the list, I want you to know that blogging is not as easy as you have read from other authors. Most internet gurus in order to make you buy their online marketing pamphlet have over hyped blogging. They tell you facts that exist only in their books. All they tell is that, get a blog, buy a domain, post some articles and boom, the cash starts flowing. That's a big lie.

Well, blogging is fun, it is lucrative but only when you know the right niche and present irresistible articles that keep people addicted to your blog.

Here are 3 niches that sell in blogging

1. Relationship/romance
Never in history have people been relationship conscious as they are today. They are looking for ways to ignite the love flames in their relationships and also how to look attractive and presentable. If you are interested in blogging, I will suggest you choose this niche as it requires little or no expertise. All you need to do is study what happens around you and write about them.

2. Business/Investment
People will always complain that there is no money yet there is still queue at the ATM. People are looking for advice on how to invest the little they have in order to gain much without working. The only problem with this niche is that it requires a little expertise as you cannot just post any junk and expect people to believe you. If you are interested in going into blogging, you can try and gather a little knowledge under this niche and then kick start your business by offering financial advice to those who are interested.

3. Personal Development
People are now ready to tap into the hidden resources embedded in them in order to give their life a meaning. This also requires a little expertise in psychology and philosophy.
