Word of the day

I remember my husband telling about a time he was sitting under a shade with some colleagues of his, and all of a sudden he had an urge
to leave the place which he related to his colleagues.

Thank God they paid heed;because immediately they took the last step from under the shade, there was a collapse,  Yes, the shade stand collapsed.

This brings us to our today's word...

Absquatulate

Pronounced /əbˈskwɒtʃʊleɪt/ (verb)

Meaning to leave somewhere abruptly.
Mind you, it can also mean making away with someone or something.

Such as saying : the thief absquatulated with her goods.

Other example: the moment I told him there could be wild animals around , he Absquatulated.
