Word of the day

Have you thought of a word different from the usual rub/apply you use when you make the below statement?

'I want to apply cream/lotion on my body'

'give me cream let me rub on my body'

Now let me give you a different word you can use...

Embrocate

Pronounced - /em -broh-keyt/ (verb)

Meaning - to moisten and rub with lotion or ointment on an affected part of the body.

Or

Administer an oil or ointment to; often in a religious ceremony
of blessing (the way a pastor would apply anointing oil on a member's forehead)

Sentence examples :

1.  Let me help you Embrocate the ointment on your back to help ease the pain.

2.  My pastor embrocates every member's forehead every blessing Sunday.
